Maria da Conceição Branco S. M. Montenegro

Full Professor of Applied Physics at the Applied Chemistry Laboratory of the Chemical Sciences Department of the Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Porto. She is also member of the research group CEQUP and of the Associate Laboratory REQUIMTE. Her research activities are concerned with the development and application of chemical sensors and biosensors, namely with potentiometric and optical transduction. Conceição Montenegro also develops work in the area of automation of analytical procedures and the development and validation of methods based on chromatography.

Montenegro is author of more than 150 papers on international journals and conference proceedings. Her papers received 1516 citations with a H-index= 22 (source,  ISIWeb Sept 203).International Advisory of INCTAA- Instituto Nacional de Ciências e Tecnologias Analíticas Avançadas.
